We recently had the opportunity to tour a property in Sagaponack unlike any we’ve seen before.
Listed for $89 million, the estate sits between Fairfield Pond and the Atlantic Ocean and features something that immediately caught our attention: a private nine-hole golf course woven into the front of the property.
The invitation came from the listing agent Kieran Brew, who knew we owned a golf brand and thought we’d appreciate the course as much as the house itself.
He was right.

As we walked the property, Kieran and Christion hit a few shots around the course. Nothing serious. A wedge here. A chip there. The kind of golf that happens when clubs are nearby and curiosity takes over.
What stood out wasn’t the scale of the estate. It was how quickly everything else disappeared.

For a few hours, we found ourselves standing on one of the most remarkable residential properties in the country, yet the conversations were the same ones you’d hear anywhere golfers gather.
How far do you think that is?
What club are you hitting?
Did you catch that slope?
Try landing one over there.
Golf has a way of doing that. It cuts through everything else.
The house was extraordinary. The views were unforgettable. But walking the course, the focus always seemed to return to the game itself.
Maybe that’s what makes golf so enduring.
Whether it’s a public course, a private club, or a nine-hole layout built for a single homeowner, the things that hold our attention are usually the same.
A golf ball in the air.
A good shot.
And a conversation that continues on to the next tee.

Thank you to Kieran for the tour and for sharing a property we’ll not soon forget.
